About Simon

Simon Jenner’s education began when he left school with virtually no qualifications. And learned to fly instead. Discovering poetry though was dangerous: and forestalled a career in airframes and engines. He took a PhD at Cambridge in Oxford Poetry of the 1940s: having failed ‘O’ Level English Literature twice.

My picks

  • “Atonement” Chichester Festival Theatre

  • “The Fastest Clock in the Universe” New Wimbledon Theatre

  • “Do Not Attempt This Conversation” Lion and Unicorn Theatre, Kentish Town
