About Simon

Simon Jenner’s education began when he left school with virtually no qualifications. And learned to fly instead. Discovering poetry though was dangerous: and forestalled a career in airframes and engines. He took a PhD at Cambridge in Oxford Poetry of the 1940s: having failed ‘O’ Level English Literature twice.

My picks

  • “2:22 A Ghost Story” Theatre Royal Brighton

  • “Hamlet” National Theatre, Lyttelton

  • “W. M. D. Woman of Mass Deception” New Venture Theatre, Brighton
